My stay at Wangcome Hotel was quite a mixed bag. I appreciated the central location, making it easy to walk to restaurants and the night market. However, the hotel itself feels quite dated and could really use some refurbishment. The breakfast was decent but didn’t quite meet my expectations for quality. Overall, while the staff were friendly and accommodating, the outdated facilities dragged my experience down a bit.

Rooms

The room was spacious and reasonably equipped. It had a comfy bed, a fridge, and even a kettle, but it also felt a bit outdated. The bathroom was functional though not particularly modern.
Service

The staff were friendly and always greeted me with a smile. I did find some of their service a bit abrupt and lacking depth during interaction, but they were helpful when I needed assistance.

The hotel's location is fantastic. I was just a short walk away from the night market and various bars and restaurants, which was perfect for exploring Chiang Rai.
Dining

The breakfast buffet offered a good variety but lacked quality options. I wasn't impressed with the taste, even though there were plenty of choices to select from.
Facilities

The hotel has a small pool, but it's hidden and not very inviting. Plus, the wifi was inconsistent and could use significant improvements.

I had a really nice stay at Wangcome Hotel. The location was perfect for walking around Chiang Rai, with tons of restaurants and the night bazaar nearby. However, the wifi was pretty weak, and some of the rooms could use further updating. Overall, it was a comfy place to stay with a great breakfast, but the inconsistent wifi was a letdown.

I stayed in a Deluxe room that was quite nice, with new flooring and a clean bathroom. It was spacious enough, but I noticed that some areas need more updates. Overall, the comfort level was decent, even if the bed was a bit on the firm side.
Service

The staff were super friendly and professional. They were always available if I needed help and made me feel welcomed. This professionalism was a highlight of my stay.
Location

The hotel's location is a major plus. I could easily walk to the bus station, night bazaar, and even the clock tower. It felt safe and convenient to explore Chiang Rai on foot.
Dining

The breakfast was pretty good, but I wish there were better coffee options. It had a decent mix of Thai and Western dishes, but it was nothing excellent. Still, it did the job.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers a pool, but it's more of a practical space than a relaxing one. The bar is nice for winding down in the evenings, but it's not a top-tier facility overall. They do have multiple services, which is helpful.

I had a pleasant stay at Wangcome Hotel, enjoying its prime location near bars, restaurants, and the night bazaar. While the hotel’s charm lies in its older style and well-maintained facilities, I was disappointed with the weak wifi and lack of power sockets. My room was quiet and clean, perfect for light sleepers, but it could use some updates for modern conveniences. Overall, it offers good value, and I would consider returning. 😊

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to local attractions like the night market and clock tower.

I didn't try breakfast this time but found it average in previous years. There's a small bar next to the lobby which adds to the dining options.

The pool area wasn’t inviting due to its location in a small, noisy courtyard. The parking was convenient, though.

I had a pleasant stay at Wangcome Hotel, with its excellent location near the night bazaar and a clean, spacious room. However, the hotel shows signs of age and could use some updates, particularly with the outdated furnishings and poor Wi-Fi. The breakfast was decent but not really good, and the pool area wasn't very inviting. Overall, I'd return, appreciating the friendly staff and central location.

My deluxe room was average in size, featuring a comfy bed and a large window with a city view. However, there were very few electrical outlets, and the bathroom was quite small, though clean.

Breakfast offered a good variety, including omelettes, cereals, and Thai dishes, but the experience was a bit chaotic with the large dining room getting crowded at peak times.

While it has some amenities like a pool and a bar, the pool area felt stark and not very inviting. Accessibility to the pool was also a bit confusing.

I appreciated the warm hospitality and the excellent location of Wangcome Hotel in Chiang Rai. The room I stayed in was nicely refurbished, with new furnishings and a comfortable bed. However, I found the breakfast to be just okay and the Wi-Fi connection frustratingly unreliable.

Rooms

The room was very nice, featuring new flooring and a comfortable bed (I really hated to leave!). I did notice that the electrical outlets were quite loose, which made charging my gadgets a bit of a hassle.

The hotel's location couldn't be better—it's just a short walk to the night bazaar and the bus station, making it convenient for exploring the city.
Dining

Breakfast had a decent variety, though the quality was lacking (I would have preferred real butter over the blend!). It was okay for refueling before my day out.

The hotel has some nice facilities, like a small swimming pool, though accessing it required navigating hidden stairs, which felt inconvenient.
